The NHL is launching a new online marketplace for fans to buy gear from, and to sell merchandise, and it’s designed to help the league become more competitive.
The new site, NHLShop, will allow fans to browse and purchase gear from an array of NHL retailers, including the National Hockey League Shop, the National Football League Shop and the National Basketball Association Shop.
Fans will be able to buy merchandise from the NHL Shop, which will be available for purchase at participating NHL shops across the United States.
The NHL Shop will be the NHL’s primary online retailer.
The NHL Shop also will be an official partner of NHL.com, a website that brings fans to their local NHL team, and will also host a number of live, live-streamed events at the team’s facilities.
The website also will feature exclusive merchandise and other content from NHL teams.
“The NHLShop is a great way for fans and fans of all teams to find and purchase merchandise from NHL retailers,” NHL.coach.com president Brian Burke said in a release.
“It is our goal to build a great online shopping experience for fans across the country, and we are excited to partner with NHLShop to provide fans with even more options and to provide a new avenue for fans of the game to connect with their favorite teams.”
The NHL’s online shopping will include both traditional retail outlets and online shops.
Fans can purchase gear through the NHLShop website, but will also be able stream games from the team facility, or visit team stores to purchase gear.
For the first time, fans will be allowed to sell items from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, which is one of the teams’ official retail locations.
The Hall of Famer, Pete Rose, has a longtime relationship with the NHL, and the NHL is expected to use the partnership to boost its retail sales.
The National Hockey Association Shop, as it’s known, will feature a curated selection of gear, apparel and accessories from a variety of NHL teams, including Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, Nashville Predators, New York Islanders, Montreal Canadiens, Anaheim Ducks, New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers.
The Shop will also feature an array and assortment of exclusive merchandise from players such as Jaromir Jagr, who has been a part of the NHL for more than a decade.
Fans can also browse the Shop for other merchandise that will be exclusive to NHLShop.com and be sold on the NHLStore.com website.
Fans who have purchased gear at a participating NHL shop can then use their credit card at the NHL Store to make a purchase from the online shop.
The League is also launching a series of events that will highlight the NHL Players’ Association, which was founded by hockey fans in 2012 and is comprised of players from all NHL teams who support their teams.
The first of these events, the NHLPA Hockey Awards, is set for April 25 in St. Louis.
The event will showcase the NHL players who are the most important to the league and the most successful in the business, with a special guest from the United Kingdom, which has been one of NHLPA’s biggest sponsors.
Fans looking to get their hands on gear at the shop will be eligible for a $25 gift card, with the remaining $25 going toward a ticket for the event.
Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase merchandise through the shop, which the NHL hopes will drive more sales for the League.
The league also is launching an online store in the next few weeks that will offer more ways for fans in the United states to shop and shop with other fans around the world.
Fans who want to buy a custom-made jersey can do so through NHLShop or NHL.ca.
Fans in other countries will also enjoy access to a number, including merchandise from teams that are currently in the NHL.
The Shop will feature an extensive assortment of NHL jerseys and memorabilia.
The Hockey Department also is rolling out a new app to give fans access to all of the team stores, along with the team store, online shop and app.
The app will allow users to view the team shop, see all of its merchandise, as well as purchase gear and apparel from a range of NHL team stores.
The NFLShop and NHL.shop are also expanding their partnerships with the NCAA, which also is expected at the NCAA Hockey Awards.
The NFL has had a partnership with the NFL Shop since the 2013-14 season, and that partnership is expected continue.
Fans and fans around this country will be in for an exciting year of hockey, and fans across Canada will be among the best fans in all of sports.
