China’s ecommerce giant Xiaomi is taking over the countrys online shopping market.
The Chinese-made smartphone maker said Friday it would take over ecommerce company Zomato’s eCommerce China business.
Zomato has more than 40 million registered users, according to the Chinese company.
The company says the new Xiaomi Mi-Line will be a $1,999 smartphone.
Zimato said in a statement that it would use the Xiaomi Mi line to deliver its products to more customers.
China is a huge market for ecommerce, and Xiaomi has a long history of launching and selling high-end products.
