Modric has scored twice in four Serie A games this season, his highest tally in a single campaign for a club in his debut campaign with the Bianconeri.
“We’re very happy for him and he’s doing his job,” Juve coach Gianluca Vialli told Sky Sport Italia.
“He’s got the ball in the net, he’s got an amazing dribble, he does his job.”
Modric’s goal-scoring record at Juventus was the third-highest in the Serie A, behind Giorgio Chiellini and Mario Mandzukic.
Modric was joined by fellow new signing Andres Iniesta and Sergio Aguero in Juve’s starting lineup, while Paulo Dybala and Marco Verratti were rested for the match against Udinese.
Modric scored a brace in Italy’s 2-1 victory over Greece in the Copa del Rey semi-final on Thursday, but the midfielder did not feature in the final after sustaining a hamstring injury in training on Tuesday.
Juve won the competition on penalties after losing to Udinese 2-0 on aggregate in the last 16.
