We spoke with Richard DeGraw about the future of the business and what the future holds for the company.
Richard is an industry leader and is the creator of Menard.com.
He is the CEO and president of Menands International, Inc., which operates Menards, Walmart, and a number of other retail businesses.
He also runs the company’s online store, www.mensards.com, and is also a board member for the American Federation of Consumer and Business Services (AFSCS).
Richard was one of the founders of the International Trade Institute, an association of industry and government experts.
The group advocates for fair trade, environmental, and labor practices.
In addition to his roles at Menards and the International Tasks Center, Richard has been an adviser to several Fortune 500 companies.
His extensive career has included executive positions at U.S. Steel, United Parcel Service, and the U.K. Post Office.
He has also served as vice chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Bank, a senior advisor to the U-K.
Royal Mail, and an adviser for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
He currently serves as Chairman of the U.-K.
Richard DeGogh is a veteran business leader who has led companies through economic transition and has led organizations that have achieved the most important outcomes.
He led Menards International, the world’s largest retailer, through its transformation from a small-business company to a global conglomerate.
Richard has led the company through four global financial crises, including the global financial crisis in 2008 and 2009, and his experience in the industry helped Menards thrive in both times.
Menards has grown to more than 1.3 million employees globally.
Richard was born in California and graduated from Stanford University in 1969.
He joined Menards as a young man, joining the business as an assistant in 1977.
Richard and his wife, Susan, have four sons and two daughters.
Richard currently serves on the boards of the American Business Council and the American Bankers Association.
He was elected to the board of directors of Menandons International, LLC, the largest retailer in the United States, in 2011.
He served on the board from 1999 to 2004, serving as vice chair for nine years.
