Posted February 10, 2018 04:33:36Apple has been working on an Apple Store eCommerce platform for several years, but has been focusing on its own eCommerce product line and is now ready to launch a mobile app.
According to the company’s vice president of consumer product design, Peter Shively, the app is set to launch “very soon”.
The company is also set to release its first eCommerce software, iCommerce Pro, and has been experimenting with new technologies and platforms.
“It is very exciting for us to finally be launching this product, as we’ve been working hard for the past several years,” Shively said in a press conference in London.
“We really want to make sure we make it easy for our customers to get in touch with us, but we also want to ensure that we do the best we can for the eCommerce business.”
Shively said the new app will allow customers to search for products, shop, and buy products, and will help them find the products that are right for them.
It’s important to note that iCommerce is currently just a test, and not an actual product launch.
Shively noted that the app’s release is “not imminent” and that the company has a lot of “tweaks” planned for the product.
Shively added that the store would also be available to developers, and that iComs customers will be able to submit a code for a free product listing that will then appear on the store.
“The more we get feedback on the app, the better we will get at delivering it,” he said.
“We want to bring it to you in a way that you are comfortable with.”
Shive said Apple was working on the product, but would not say what the final product would look like.
The company did say that the software was “coming very soon” and was “in the early stages of development”.
