JCPensa, the parent company of JCP and TJ Maxx, has launched its own online store for retailers.
The JCP Store, available on Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy, allows retailers to sell goods online at a fraction of the retail prices offered by the major U.S. chains, as well as online for a fraction the cost.
JCP has partnered with Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart to offer the store, which it hopes will boost retail sales and help to offset declining sales at traditional brick-and-mortar retailers.JCP’s ecommerce strategy includes making online shopping easier and faster for customers.
It offers a free 30-day trial, a free 3-day shipping trial and a free 24-month trial of its online store.
The retailer says its store offers more than 10 million items, including clothes, shoes, cosmetics, beauty, jewelry, housewares, furniture, home furnishings and more.
“With the JCPstore, retailers will have access to more than 1,000 online brands and brands’ entire catalogs, making it easier for customers to find what they need,” said Matt Wiegand, JCP’s vice president of merchandising.
“In addition, JCBensa has worked with retailers to provide more convenient checkout, allowing customers to check out online quickly, at any time of day.”
The retailer also launched its online-only store on Jan. 28.
The site will offer items that cannot be sold at stores that have physical stores, such as electronics and jewelry.
The retailer says the JCBonsa store will be available to customers in 20 countries by March 1.
