Oculus VR and Amazon have partnered to invest in a combined $1 billion in ecommerce projects, with the Oculus VR platform and Amazon Amazon’s Mechanical Turk program providing the funding.
Both companies have been investing in e-commerce projects as part of their efforts to become the leading e-tailers in the space.
The ecommerce platforms have seen tremendous growth over the last two years, with ecommerce growth doubling in the first half of 2018.
In addition to the Oculus-Amazon deal, the two companies have also announced a new partnership that will see Oculus VR support Amazon Mechanical Turk for the next year.
Amazon Mechanical Trovshian will work with the two tech giants to create a platform that will allow users to make payments with Amazon Mechanical Chests.
The platform will then allow users who are interested in making a purchase to make purchases using their Mechanical Turk accounts.
In 2018, Amazon has been working with e-payments companies such as e-PayPal and PayPal to develop a platform to process payments using digital wallets.
The two companies are also collaborating to make a virtual store that would allow users pay with a PayPal virtual card.
Amazon is also launching its own digital wallet for Amazon Prime members.
These are just a few examples of the ways in which the companies are partnering to create new business opportunities for both companies.
In addition to ecommerce, Oculus VR is also working on VR and AR applications, with its Oculus Rift virtual reality headset currently being used to explore how people use their VR headsets.
